Do you suffer from any of the below? Perhaps our chiropractors can help you…
A chiropractor is a primary health care professional (which means that
you can visit a chiropractor without a referral from a doctor).
The practice of chiropractic focuses on the relationships in the body between structure and function. Chiropractic treatment works by using gentle adjustments to stimulate control centres of the spinal cord and nervous system to improve joint alignment and spinal control.
The term ‘chiropractic’ is a general term which means literally translated from latin means, ‘practice with the hands’. The term refers to a wide variety of different techniques utilized by these practitioners to restore normal biomechanics and therefore function to joints in the body. All registered chiropractors are university trained.
What will your consultation consist of?
Rebates are available through all Health Funds and in some cases Medicare covers for chiropractic treatment.
We are passionate about helping you return to the quality of life that you deserve. So many people live with pain thinking that ‘at their age it’s normal’ but this is absolutely not the case and we have seen time and time again the improvements that people did not think were possible.
How we work
We use a combination of different techniques, most of which are gentle and are suitable to every age group. All of our techniques are aimed at gently adjusting the spine, releasing areas of tight muscles and improving the balance of muscles around the spine and of the whole body. The treatment can be as gentle or as firm as you like, we know how to achieve results either way. All of our treatments are done fully clothed so no need to worry about getting undressed!
In fact, here are some other ways our patients benefit from our treatment;
Anita has been in the healing industry for 10 years. Starting her journey in chiropractic and then moving into kinesiology, she now uses a blend of both to get her clients the best results she can.
Her chiropractic techniques are integrated, blending manual adjustments, low force chiropractic techniques, soft tissue therapy, and dry needling. She has completed studies in paediatric chiropractic and loves treating children.
Anita became interested in kinesiology after experiencing it when she was a student herself. It seemed to be the perfect adjunct to chiropractic with endless opportunities to create change and healing for people. She is now a certified Applied Kinesiologist with a keen interest in systemic and chronic health conditions. She also has completed training in Neuro-Emotional Technique, a kinesiology technique which helps the body to release neurological imbalances related to unresolved stress and emotional trauma.
She is trained in Retained Neonatal Reflexes, a combined kinesiology/chiropractic technique which can greatly help children (and adults) with behavioural and developmental disorders. This includes fear, anxiety, tantrums, lack of emotional regulation, speech, learning, focus, handwriting, sports, gross and fine motor skills.
Her special interests include chronic pain, headaches/migraines, jaw dysfunction, fatigue, gut issues, mental health, toxicity, food intolerances, hormonal imbalances, adrenal stress, sleep issues and behavioural issues in kids.
Anita believes wholeheartedly in the concept of educating her patients, and those that see her will benefit greatly from her tips for exercise, nutrition and lifestyle. She has a very strong belief in the importance of taking good care of your body and mind, and will never stop learning and growing as a practitioner and a person
